Summary of the conference “Eco-innovation as an opportunity for sustainable economic development” PDF Print E-mail

On 12 of April 2012 at the Kielce University of Technology was held a conference “Eco-innovation as an opportunity  for sustainable economic development”. The aim of the conference was to familiarize the participants with innovative environmental technologies., in particular with eco-innovations. During the conference, the representatives of companies presented their own examples of eco-innovative solutions.

 

The conference was organized by:

-The Kielce University of Technology

- Student Scientific Circle of Environmental Engineers 'ENVIRONMENTALIST'

-The Regional Centre for Innovation and Technology Transfer

- Marshal's Office of Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship ,Office of Innovation.

 

The meeting was attended by more than 70 people representing businesses, local governments, universities.

 

Topics of the conference:

 -"Construction of didactic energy efficient building on the example of ENERGIS" - Prof. Assoc. Eng. Jerzy Piotrowski, Dean of the Kielce University of Technology

-"The role of Świętokrzysko-Podkarpacki Energy Cluster and the Circle of Efficient Use of Energy in the use of renewable energy sources in the region" – Ph. D. Włodzimierz Grochal, RCITT Director

-"The role and importance of innovation in the development of green economy for example of INWEX” – Stanisław Szczepaniak, President of the Board

- “Implementation of innovative technology for energy recovery from biomass and waste biomass fuels –Jan Gładki, owner of the company Fluid S.A.

- “Regeneration of degraded land in the sulfur mine in Rzędów (ecological and innovative way to use RES) – Andrzej Pacocha, an expert in renewable energy and organic farming DROWiŚ

- "Kielce Technology Park as a place of support for academic entrepreneurship" - Dominik Kraska, Head of Consultancy and Technology Transfer.

 

At the end of the conference were also held workshops on TRIZ - Theory of Solving Innovative Tasks performed by the one TRIZ expert in Poland, Jan Boratyński.

We are pleased to inform you that the Regional Centre for Innovation and Technology Transfer Ltd (RCITT) has reached 10 years of its activity. RCITT was established on December 18th, 2001 as a non-profit institution.
The mission of RCITT, recorded in the company’s contract, is striving to strengthen the competitiveness of the Region in manufacturing, services, education and management. RCITT groups together professionals from many sectors. We closely work with universities, and with regional and local authorities, in order to implement the main features of our region. RCITT shareholders, today, are: the Świętokrzyskie region, the City of Kielce and the Kielce University of Technology.

Since its birth, ŚCITT, has worked to strengthen the economic position of the Świętokrzyskie region, domestically and internationally. Nowadays, we realize several projects of regional, national and international interest, in the area of new technologies, and we support entrepreneurship and knowledge transfer. Entrepreneurs can get, from our company, free information on starting and running a business, and on seeking external funding opportunities to enter foreign markets. We also provide them a free service of technology audit, international technology transfers and assistance in establishing business contacts (trade missions, brokerage events).
RCITT groups together specialists from many fields, including academics, and works closely with local governments to implement the main priorities of the region. Almost since the inception of the company, special attention has been paid to the industry of renewable energy sources (RES) and energy efficiency (EWE). Since 2010, ŚCITT promotes the idea of public-private partnership (PPP) in the Świętokrzyskie region . At the same time, we are proud to act as coordinator of the Malopolska, Carpathian, Silesian and Świętokrzyskie Regions in the European EEN consortium.

RCITT, and its daily working partners - institutions and organizations, are forming a regional system of entrepreneurship, constituted by industries, small and medium enterprises, business start ups, research centers, teachers, local governments and inventors.

Over the past 10 years, RCITT has been committed to information services, consultancy and training for pupils, students and academics, entrepreneurs and unemployed, for civil servants and employees in enterprises. The best evidence of the nature of our business are the numbers adduced below:

  •  More than 65 million PLN raised for the regional institutions and companies for their project implementation
  •  almost 2 300 free information services, in particular for businesses and people planning to carry on business activity;
  • 300 advisory services pro-innovation, including more than 200 technology audits, and more than 50 transfers of knowledge;
  • nearly 100 advisory services consisting, in particular, in implementing the quality management system and in developing applications for EU funds;
  • more than 11 000 participants to nearly 500 conferences, seminars, workshops and training.


The 10th anniversary of the Regional Centre for Innovation and Technology Transfer was celebrated on March 6th, at the Hotel Congress in Kielce. The meeting was an excellent opportunity to express our personal thanks to all who accompanied and supported us in our activities over these past 10 years: our shareholders, partners, colleagues and friends. Acknowledgement has been expressed to us by honoring RCITT with the Ambassador title.

Once again we want to thank everyone who, over these 10 years, has actively supported us and still supports our center.
Innovation, new technology and knowledge transfer are major challenges for the coming years, so MAY THE FORCE BE WITH US.

The Regional Centre for Innovation and Technology Transfer Ltd announces the recruitment of foreign experts in the frame of the project “Circles of innovation – development of integrated tools of innovation support of voivodeship in area of large potential of growth” financed by the European Union in the framework of European Social Fund.

Estimated value of the contract does not exceed the PLN equivalent of EUR in  amount of 14.000 EUR (Article 4 point. 8) Act of 29 January 2004, the Public Procurement Law, Journal of Law10.113.759, as amended.

The scope of the expert work:

to develop a presentation and lecture during the conference (organized in the frame of Partner Search) about „Efficient use of energy and the use of renewable energy sources – and economy development”

Date and place of realization:

07 March 2012, Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, Kielce.

Requirements for the Expert


-higher education
-knowledge of the following topics:

  • Energetics
  • Renewable energy sources
  • Production of renewable energy sources from biomass
  • Examples of production of energy from renewable sources
  • Experience in lecture within the aforementioned range (min. 2 lectures)

Summary of the conference "Building energy efficient - need of the hour" PDF Print E-mail

On 14 February 2012 in the Kielce University of Technology was held a conference: "Building energy efficient - need of the hour", which aim was to promote opportunities for energy efficiency in building construction. Experts presented the benefits of investments in innovative technology to reduce energy consumption and renewable energy sources. Dr Eng. Włodzimierz Grochal – Director of the Regional Centre for Innovation and Technology Transfer presented issues regarding energy efficient construction in context of the provisions of the Regional Innovation Strategy, Mr Jerzy Sobierajski defined tasks of regional authorities in the scope of energy efficient construction. Among many issues, which were touched during the conference were also those concerned with energy efficient construction in the framework system, the use of renewable energy sources and ways to support businesses in obtaining financing. Dr Eng. Jan Jakubowski presented projects of energy-efficient sports halls. At the end of the conference participants had the opportunity to learn about energy efficient construction techniques while exploring the new object Kielce University of Technology - ENERGIS which is an example of energy efficient construction.


The conference was organized by the Regional Centre for Innovation and Technology Transfer and the Kielce University of Technology.


The conference was realized in the frame of the project “Circles of Innovation – development of integrated tools that support innovation in areas of the region with high growth potential” financed by the European Union in the frame of the European Social Fund, where RCITT is a leader of Efficient Use of Energy Circle.

Requirements for the Expert

a) Higher education;
b) International consulting experience in the field of investments financed jointly with public and private funds;
c) Knowledge of international trade law;
d) Experience in conducting meetings within the aforementioned range.
Conditions offering to the expert:

1. Type of employment: contract work;
2. Salary will be paid after the service and delivered to the Contractor’s correctly completed account within 21 days of receipt receiving.

Submission of the seminar "Management of intellectual property in universities" PDF Print E-mail

On 30th of January 2012 at the Kielce University of Technology was held seminar „Management of intellectual property in universities” organized by the Regional Centre for Innovation and Technology Transfer and the Kielce University of Technology. Participants of the meeting were researches of the Kielce University of Technology.

Aim of the meeting was to familiarize participants with  procedures connected with management of intellectual property in universities – regulations, procedures, agreements, in particular it the context of creating solutions directed to commercialization. Seminar was led by Arkadiusz Płoski, specialist of intellectual property.

The seminar was realized in the frame of project “RSI Perspectives of Świętokrzyskie (III stage” financed from the European Social Fund, Human Capital Operational Programme, Prioryty VIII Regional Human Resources Management, Measure 8.2. Knowledge Transfer, Sub-measure 8.2.2. Regional Strategies of Innovation.
